Temporary disruption to website and member portal access

Update 23:00 19/07/22 - our planned maintenance to support the data migration from Stroud Valleys Credit Union to GWCU is now complete earlier than scheduled. All services are now working as normal.

Earlier in the year, we announced that Stroud Valley’s Credit Union (SVCU) would be merging with GWCU. We are pleased to say that we are putting together the final preparations for the transfer, which will allow us to further strengthen and grow our membership base in Gloucestershire.  

The next step for us is the migration of SVCU records early next week, which means that GWCU’s systems and website will be offline from 1pm Tuesday 19 July until 9am Wednesday 20 July while we transfer the data.  

During this time, our website and member portal will be unavailable, and members will be unable to log in to view their account, move money, or make a loan application. Transfer and external payment requests via the portal, email or phone will need to be received by 1pm on Tuesday 19 July. 

Of course, like any data migration, there’s some risk that timings may change so please keep an eye on our website for any updates as we get closer to the migration date.
