You might have noticed a fresh new look, but this update is about far more than a logo or colour palette. Itās about who we are, who we serve, and how we continue to grow together to deliver our purpose.
Why weāve refreshed our brand
Great Western Credit Union has grown significantly in recent years. From our beginnings in Bristol, we now support thousands of members across the West and South counties of England. Our community is more diverse, more online, more mobile dependent, and facing more financial challenges than ever before.
Weāve evolved to better reflect the people we serve. Today, our membership includes many women, single parents, and people from ethnic minority backgrounds often managing tight household budgets and with limited time. Our rebrand is about aligning who we are visually with the mission that drives us: making people and communities better off.
This updated identity is a symbol of our commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and financial wellbeing for all.

As a digital-first credit union with a strong social purpose, we knew our website needed to do more. More accessibility, more clarity, and more ease for mobile users.

We believe credit unions have an increasingly important role to play in todayās financial services. Weāre not a bank, and we donāt want to act like one. However, we do want to be modern, accessible and relevant for our membersā changing saving and borrowing needs.

While our look has changed a little, what we stand for hasnāt. We're still your community-owned credit unionālocal, ethical, and built for people, to benefit our members. We believe credit unions have a powerful role to play in todayās financial world: putting financial wellbeing, and co-operative values, not shareholder returns, first.
