Frequently asked questions

What is AER?

AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate. It shows how much interest you’d earn on your savings over a year.

The AER varies across savings accounts. So, you can compare the AER of each one to decide which account would be best for you. A higher AER could mean a bigger return on your savings.
