How can I add money to my savings account?

There are several ways to deposit money into your Great Western Credit Union savings account:

  1. Bank Transfer or Standing Order: Set up a bank transfer or regular standing order from your bank account. Simply log in to the member portal to find the necessary account details for transferring funds.

  1. Cheque Deposit:

    Request a pre-paid envelope by emailing info@gwcu.org.uk

Please make sure you include your name and member number on the back of the cheque.

To pay in a cheque, you can post this to us at:

2 York Court

Upper York Street

Bristol

BS2 8QF

  1. Cash Deposit via Allpay Card: If you need to deposit cash, you can request a free Allpay card to make cash deposits at any Post Office or PayPoint location. Please note that we do not accept cash in the post.

Our savings accounts are not set-up for day-to-day banking, so if you regularly need access to cash then we strongly encourage you to open a current account with a bank or a building society.
