How do I upload my documents?
Uploading your documents is simple, and you can complete the step in just a few moments. Here’s how it works:
1. Choose the type of ID you’re uploading
Select the document you want to use. For example:
- UK Driving Licence
- UK Passport
2. Check your photo meets the guidelines
Before uploading, make sure that:
- All four edges of your ID are clearly visible
- The image is clear and readable
- No details are blurred, covered, or cut off
- Your file is in .jpeg or .png format
3. Upload your document
You can either:
Drag and drop your file into the upload box, or click the upload area to select a file from your device
4. Wait for the upload to complete
Once your document has successfully uploaded, it will show on screen and you’ll be able to continue to the next step.
Can I upload more than one ID?
No, you can only upload one document on each section of the application. If you need to send us multiple documents, you will need to share them via email.
What if I need to re‑upload a document?
No problem. Just select the option to replace or remove your file, then upload a new version.
What if my file isn’t uploading?
A few quick checks usually do the trick:
Make sure the file is a .jpeg or .png
Make sure the image is clear and not too large
Rename the file (avoid special characters like / \ # %)
Try using a different browser or device
