Yes. As a responsible lender, we will check your credit history with a Credit Reference Agency to help us make our lending decisions, but you can still qualify for a loan with us even if you’ve got a bad credit history.

No - the Solar Loan is solely for the costs of solar PV and its installation. Your installer should include everything needed to get you up and running in their quote, including scaffolding, equipment and anything else. We won’t lend extra to fund other costs, or for other purposes from this loan, though you’re welcome to apply for one of our other loans too.

Yes. We’ll need to see quotes for each of the properties you’re proposing to fund, and the maximum we can lend will still be a total of £15,000 irrespective of how many properties you want to install panels on.

Yes! Unlike other lenders, we do not charge early repayment fees. You can pay off your loan early, or make extra payments at any time, with no charge, by logging in to the member portal or via bank transfer.
