How do I register for the member portal?
To start using the Member Portal, you will need to register your account, which is easy to do by following the steps below.
Once registered, you’ll be able to login and view your transactions and make withdrawal requests, as well as apply for loans and other services. You can also use secure messaging to contact us with any queries you may have about your accounts.
Before you start
To register, you will need your National Insurance number handy. If you have changed any of your details recently and have not told us (e.g. mobile number, address), or we don’t have your National Insurance number, then please get in touch before you start the registration process, so we can update your information.
Register for the Member Portal
Click Register for the member portal and follow these steps:
If you’re using a mobile, click on the pink ‘Get started’ button at the bottom of the screen.
If you are using a desktop, click the ‘Get started’ button on the right-hand side of the screen.
On the next screen, enter your email address. This email address must already be registered with us.
If you are already a member but are not registered to the portal, you will need to contact us so we can help you get set up. If you do not have a savings or loan account with us already, you will need to apply online to become a member and gain online access to the member portal.
If you are already registered, you will need to log in to your account using the left-hand side of the screen. If you need to reset your password, click the ‘Forgot your password?’ link.
Next, enter the information requested so we can check your account against our records.
Once we have verified your details, you will be able to login to the member portal, using your email address and password.
If we are unable to verify some of your details, you will see the following screen. Please email us: info@gwcu.org.uk to get an additional verification code.
