New service point opens in Bath

Residents of Bath will be able to access credit union services from the Weston Hub

Residents of Weston, in Bath will soon be able to access services offered by Bristol Credit Union from the Weston Hub, thanks to volunteers from All Saints Church.

From Wednesday 13 June, people will be able to drop-in to the hub on Pen Hill Road, every Monday, 1pm-3pm, and Wednesday, 9am-11am, to find out more about the BCU services, including savings and loans.

The new service is a result of a partnership with All Saints Church, who manage the Weston Hub, and run a number of services that support the local community.

We look forward to welcoming new members from the area.

Kate Hanks, Deputy CEO of Bristol Credit Union says “We were approached by All Saints Church who wanted the people in the local community to be able to access the wide range of services we provide. After receiving training and support from BCU, volunteers will be on hand to help local people make the most of their money, by encouraging people to develop a savings habit, and providing access to affordable loans if they need them.

Outreach points like this in the heart of the local community help us to reach even more people that need our services. If you have a local venue and some willing volunteers in your local community then do get in touch.
